I was only in Toronto a few months and knew I wouldn't be able to see out a two year contract, things are not always as golden as it seems and although having a better climate, beaches and even standard of rugby it is not always enough to fill the void of not seeing your family, especially a son/daughter as regularly as you used too. I would not be surprised if the GW transfer fee is waived with a view to JB coming back for 2020 after a full season in the NRL.

Great example. Mike had seemingly plateaued here and went to Aus and grew another leg. Shone out there and came back a much improved player.

He was excellent in Oz and has to be Sutton’s inspiration IMO. I’d say Sutton is at a very similar level to what Cooper was at the time he went over so why not.

I hope it works out for him.

I think it 's because all aussies know what a boring place Canberra is and no one wants to go there.

Brits automatically assume everywhere in aus is sea and surf, but you' re a good few hours away from the coast in Canberra.

Its certainly not a place you can go for a surf before training.

Aussies all seem to moan about the weather there!
