not Gonna be a cheap weekend that one for anyone that wants to stay in Liverpool, hotels are going to be charging top whack.

I think we will go up and back on the train on the Sunday. Only taking in our game.
As you say NB, it is not going to be cheap to stay there. Having checked, there is not much hotel availability. A poor decision to take it to Liverpool.

Agreed it’s a poor decision. As I said, maybe it was just the stand I was in but the facilities and seating were not good.
Access to the ground is going to be problematic, getting round Liverpool is not t going to be straightforward either.

Well if this is the work of Robert Elstone, I am not impressed.
I have seen pictures from last weekend, where the view from the seats is obscured and how little leg room there is.

Looking around the other Super League forums. The general consensus is not positive. Liverpool is a poor choice.
When there is gridlock in the area around Anfield, Super League will end up with egg on its face.

From where I was view was pretty good, and magic certainly ain’t going to fill the place so probably that’s not going to be an issue. Leg room is terrible, as I say I ain’t the tallest and it was bloody uncomfortable

Toilets were down 2 floors so stairwells were a nightmare, and even with a small crowd queues were shocking. Not that you could get out of your seat unless the whole row moved out.
Never did Newcastle so can’t compaire.
With the added complication of another major sporting event in the city that weekend it seems a bit of a crazy decision.
The traffic! I was on 2 wheels so should have been easy, still took me 45/50 mins to get to the m way, it was gridlock.

Hotels seem very scarce and expensive. Think I will do as Bostwick suggests and go up and back on the day.......

With the other event having been on the calendar for quite a while there are going to be very few beds available that weekend.
