I thought we'd got over the days when we were set up as sacrificial lambs for newly promoted sides/sides with a new stadium etc. Not this time, we'll bury them.

It may be my bitter and twisted mind but I think that we have played EVERY newly promoted side in the fuirst round of SL since the change to summer rugby.


Can anyone with a better memory/ knowledge confirm ?

Don’t have to go that far back, it didn’t happen in 2017. Leigh had come up but we opened against Hull. Other than that not sure!
