Got to have more internationals.

Even RU recognise the value by having their autumn programme during November.

Can you imagine a Pacific tour in November playing Samoa, Fiji, PNG and Tonga on successive Saturdays.

If we persist in playing France the game should be played in France possibly at Avignon or Toulouse.

While we are at it why not promote the game in Cumbria. 2 games each year on a Wednesday night v Yorkshire and Lancashire.
e.g. mid June v Lancs at Barrow and then mid July v Yorks at either Whitehaven or Workington.

But I do agree, there needs to be more internationals.

As many that Australia and New Zealand aren’t the home teams, the better, though, as their crowds are pathetic.

I'd go:

Year 1 - GB v NZ Test Series (Northern Hemisphere)

Year 2 - GB v Aus Test Series & tour of Pacific Nations (Southern Hemisphere)
European Nations Tournament between England Knights, France, Ireland, Scotland and Wales (Northern Hemisphere)

Year 3 - Five nations between Aus, Eng, NZ, Tonga and European Nations winner (England Knights excluded obviously) - Northern Hemisphere

Year 4 - mid season Pacific Nations Tournament when Origin is on
Five nations between Aus, Eng, NZ, Tonga and Pacific Nations winner (Southern Hemisphere)

Year 5 - World Cup

We need continuity not constant chopping and changing. The Four Nations was building in stature each year. At the last tournament we had 40k at Anfield, 21k at Coventry and 35k in London on a Sunday with a rail strike. It’s madness after that massively successful tournament it was scrapped.

We should go with the structure below, if Australia refuse to play the year after a World Cup replace them with the 5th highest ranked team in the World for that tournament. Our Four Nations in time could rival Rugby Union’s Six Nations.

Year 1
Four Nations - Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, England. Pacific Cup - Fiji, Samoa, PNG, Lebanon
European Cup - France, Wales, Scotland, Ireland
America’s Cup - Canada, USA, Jamacia

Year 2
Four Nations - Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, England. Pacific Cup - Fiji, Samoa, PNG, Lebanon
European Cup - France, Wales, Scotland, Ireland
America’s Cup - Canada, USA, Jamacia

Year 3
Four Nations - Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, England. Pacific Cup - Fiji, Samoa, PNG, Lebanon
European Cup - France, Wales, Scotland, Ireland
America’s Cup - Canada, USA, Jamacia

Year 4
World Cup

Could do a far beetter job myself.

Who is responsible for marketing these games. They should be sacked.

RFL ticketing site has now been inaccessible for the last half hour (for me at least and nothing wrong with my internet).

What an amateurish joke the RFL are. Heartbreaking that they are letting the sport down like they are.
