I just hope the malaise that will see the season out doesn’t carry on into next season. The pressure will be immediate next year.
I’m not a big fan of using two quota spots on wingers, unless it’s a special player. I’d rather see Miloudi on the wing, but have a feeling he won’t be with us long term. I’d even put Shaul on the wing (safe under the high ball, would make metresout of backfield), and shift Connor to full back so we have an extra pivot.
We’ve had two months of safety for the coaching staff to start putting things in place for next year and I’d expect a lot of our shortcomings to be addressed.
Douglas played, but difference was the backs, only had Morgan missing, who is average anyway. Their pack was weak, but they got us out wide.
Our confidence is rock bottom though, but game next weekend, I fancy us to win for some reason. Manu out, but hopefully Shaul, Carlos and Houghton back, will see us have a decent line up and beat Catalans. Think it's important to get a win before the season finishes.
I tend to agree, that cats are a good chance of getting a win on the board, they have just conceeded 34 points at wakey and whereas at home they are always tough away somewhat softer and its your last chance of showing something for the fans.

Also makes a big difference that all their youngsters who came in to play are fresh. Ours have been on the end of hammerings for the last couple of months and have been asked to do a lot more than was probably going to be asked of them this year. They're shot.

The results are, on the whole, predictable given the injury ravaged season, however many of the performances in this long run of defeats have been way below where they should be and completely unacceptable. Whether an off season and some bodies back will sort it is anyone's guess but radford is right that the rot has set in and generally the only way to remove rot is to cut it out
there where missing a few granted but not 8, plus 2 of our quickest where missing , but your right we could do with a bit more pace
Just a thought but if you're after some pace, it's a shame Caton-Brown couldn't have gone your way. One of the quickest players in the League and can find his way to the try line. Unfortunate in a way he went over to Toronto 2/3rds way through the season but he's too good as a backup and Trinity have Johnstone & BJB. Obviously, with the cap and him leaving mid-season it isn't that straightforward, but from what I've seen of him I bet there aren't too many better English wingers available at the time & would have done a good job for Hulll imo.
