JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
2 of my 3 girls, along with their mother are full of a cold so I’ve been on nurse duty all night! I intended to go buy cest la vie!

Hope they all feel better soon. Despite your posts and you seeming to have an intense dislike for Leigh Centurions, I am a decent chap. Unlike the robotic comments from yourself (usually) Sir Kev & Jean. Night Nurse should do the trick.... Hope it's a Saints v Cas Grand final.
Catalans were a badly depleted team last night, playing without seven (7) first choice players: Remi Casty, Julien Bousquet, Michael McIlorum, Louis Anderson, Fouad Yaha, Jodi Broughton, and Samisoni Langi due to injury. For Catalans to be able to keep Wakefield to a two try victory, 34-22, with such a handicap (including half the forward pack missing), and playing away in a hostile, rodent infested environment, was admirable.

Trinity also missing 5 first teamers from the start of the season. David Fifita, Ben Jones-Bishop, Danny Kirmond, Tinrau Arona, Liam Finn. Hot prospect James Batchular also had to retire early from the game meaning wonderful Wakefield had only 16 players for the final 30 minutes of the game, not accounting for the sin binding of herculean Huby after a 26 man fracas.
The dreadful Dragons reverted back to their thuggish ways when they realised they couldn't cope with tremendous Trinity playing the game of rugby, fortunately the their cynical exploits did not prevail and they were sent home without 2 competition points.

Does Wakefield beating Catalan make Trinity a top SL side ?
Your beloved Catalan reverted to type last night. Getting pumped, they resorted to grubby tactics and tried hard to turn the game into a physical battle, plenty of biff though and I think Trinity came out on top there as well.
