I'd like the CC to be unseeded a bit earlier to allow some more revenue to go to lesser clubs.

Magic Weekend being a CC round is a great idea with one snag - Sky.

The fact is that playoffs with a deep qualifying entry will take intensity out of league games.

The whole problem though is there is limited TV money and a long tail of clubs that are financial unviable without it. So SL income has to support a whole raft of clubs which attract attendances of 2 men and a dog. This will not change until anyone is remotely interested in a TV rights deal for the lower divisions - but this is unlikely because the fan base is derisory I mean who would pay for an advert at HT/or pay per view for a game between Swinton and Rochdale.
