Whilst not all have won, 9 of the 12 SL clubs have reached a final at the new Wembley which is a pretty good figure with only Wakey, Salford and Widnes who haven’t but with SF appearances.

I think we’ll see more variety in the GF too in the future. That was Leeds’ best ever generation that achieved special things and you get teams/individuals in every sport who do similar for periods before you get more variety in the winners circle. Most other sports celebrate repeated winners of main trophies, we seem to view it as a bad thing for our sport.

It’s great smaller clubs are reaching finals and challenging for trophies. The downside is this has been achieved by the constant lowering of the Salary Cap (due to inflation) which has seen most of our star players leave Super League and a lower standard of competition.

Barnet’s The Hive stadium is only three stops up the tube line to Wembley, could play it there if it happened in the CC.

Could play the GF at the AJ Bell if it happened in SL.
