Have Wakefield gone public on this - or is it just a rumour?
I seem to recall Wakefield didn't pay on time,some years ago,but nothing entered the public domain until years afterwards.
Or,is it Super League clubs taking every opportunity to have a 'pop' at clubs outside of the Super League 'bubble'?

What is it you "seem to recall, but can't quite remember"?

To my knowledge they have not failed to pay a transfer fee (they don't buy that many players).

And following the CVA, they repaid ALL debts in full. That never gets mentioned, as it doesn't fit the biased narative of people like you.

So go on, which club didn't Wakefield pay?

I don't think drawing parallels to what Trinity may or may not have done in the past is a good thing to associate with Toronto. It's not as if Trinity haven't been a financial basketcase of a club previously.

Wakefield and hull kr have both gone bust. See what I did there? I put something out on the internet with no citation. Ergo, citation needed or stop making things up just because you don’t want rugby league to expand

I think you are mixing us up with Bradford. Paying players is not something that Wakefield have failed to do.
Wakey are a "supplier"; it's a transfer of a player and the period allowed for payments is mandated by the RFL contract.

If they haven't paid on time, they have broken the RFL bye laws.

This is the kind of thing that will/can be used to deny them promotion to SL.
