KR win Hull Derby To Increase FCs Misery





The KCOM Stadium was the venue for the Hull derby as the regular rounds drew to a close with both sides looking for form going into the play-offs in their respective eights. 
A loss for FC would come close to writing off their already unlikely chances of a top four finish but for KR it was more about gaining confidence going into a daunting looking middle eights and a fight for Super League survival.
The Airlie Birds had some pride to regain after being humiliated at Wakefield Trinity last week but with new signing Todd Carney making his debut from the bench, the Robins were seeking to inflict further pain and grab some solace after a poor season with some local bragging rights.

Tell you what, play like that in the 8s and Rovers will finish top of the Middle 8s. With a few injured bodies back and get Carney up and running, there’s no reason why they can’t.

Was at the game so hard to tell, but could Scruton be facing a ban? Possible shoulder charge whilst both feet off the floor?

Unfortunately yes, it was as you say so should be looking at a ban.

When you think of the players to come back in Lunt Carney Masoe Greenwood Vai Vai McGuire it was a bit of a surprise the way things went tonight. T Carney did well I thought and Hall and Crooks had great games. Discipline was poor 2nd half and nearly let them back in but diagonal kick aside they didn't look capable of any real attacking threat.Snide still looked injured to me..Anyway on to the 8s

A few of our players looked like they shouldn't have been out there. Manu could hardly walk round the pitch at the end of the game.
