All hypothetical but what do people think will be our first choice 17 next year's allowing for reasonable recruitment and players leaving? I think sinny has a lot of work to do on the recruitment side of things and am going for:
Walker
T. Briscoe
Watkins
New player
Handley/L. Briscoe
Lolohea
Myler
Garbutt
Parcel
Singleton
Ward
New player
Cuthbo

Dwyer
Sutcliffe
Peteru
New second rowers

That will see us making four signings including lolohea which reflects we need new blood but also that you don't want to make a huge number of signings in one off season.

Going out we are looking at moon, hall, jjb, ablett, keinhorst, Delaney and possibly ferres.

We need to keep JJB running for another season. His commitment, enthusiasm and line speed rubs off on the other players. He might be getting a little old but if we manage things sensibly he still has a role to play. Ferres needs to get on slimming world in the off season and pick some speed up unless he aims to be a prop.
We need a centre, maybe a winger who can goal kick (they generally get less injuries and an average winger can look good in good team), a back rower and a big hard prop who can make hits like kylie did and dislodge the ball and turn a game.

We haven't kept Jjb running this season he's done as is Delaney.

Taking it a step further, If we run with a 30 man squad again next season, id like them to really freshen it up, get some of our good youngsters up into the first team squad and free up alot of cap for 3 quality signings to add to Lolohea.

Fullback - Walker, Goulding
Wing - T Briscoe, New signing, L Briscoe
Centre - Watkins, Handley, Newman
Halfback - Myler, Lolohea
Prop - Garbutt, Singleton, New signing, Peteru, Oledzki, Crosby, Holroyd, Dupree
Hooker - Parcell, Dwyer, Johnson
Backrow - Ward, Cuthbertson, New signing, L Suttcliffe, Ferres, Smith, A Suttcliffe, Trout, McConnell

Out - Moon, Hall, JJB, Ablett Delaney Mullally, Walters, Ormendroyd, Keinhorst, JJ Roberts.

Darley, Whitely and Chapman -Smith resigned and season long loan to somewhere like hunslet.

Id keep Crosby over Mullally if given the choice, id get shot of ferres in a heartbeat but he's got another year on contract so we'r stuck with him id think.

1. Walker
2. T Briscoe
3. Watkins
4. Handley
5. New signing
6. Lolohea
7. Myler
8. Garbutt
9. Parcell
10. Singleton
11. Ward
12. New signing
13. Cuthbertson

14. Dwyer
15. New signing (Prop)
16. Peteru
17. L Suttcliffe (Backrow)
