I’d second that. Tomkins was the only creative player in anWigan shirt.
I can’t fault the effort and commitment of a single player, I also don’t think we were as far off as some will no doubt suggest. St Helens are a good and crucially confident team and were well worth the win overall. Their props were better than ours but the biggest single difference was Roby. As a Wigan fan i look forward to the day he retires. From our point of view I think Woods showed his inexperience and Powell showed his limitations. Taking Tomkins out of that team and putting Hardaker in we create absolutely nothing which worries me for next season.
