I keep reading things which suggest he may go to Salford before the end of the season.

I am assuming we won’t let this happen unless we are guaranteed in the top 8, as would be a mistake imo to let him go there whilst there is still a chance we could end up in the middle 8’s with them?

Once we're safe, the option to let MCB go to Salford may come about and help us in our pursuit of Kopczak?

The signing period ends on 27th July I believe so not sure we will have guaranteed our top 8 status by then

By 5 o'clock next Sunday, MCB will be available for Salford and we will be on our way to signing Kopczak for next season.

But even if we did that he could help them win enough of their other games to potentially finish above us

or if he was released this week and scored enough to help beat catalan that wouldn't that help us, hanging on to players is unfair
