It is certainly the case that SW announced his new job relatively quickly after announcing his resignation.

No one seems to be considering that, yet again, RU might have swooped on an RL asset, with RL simply unable to fend them off.

When he resigned he said he had nothing lined up and was open to offers so bang goes that theory: Wane, 53, who made his first-team debut as a player for Wigan in 1982 and also worked as a scout at the club before becoming head coach, insists he has no other job lined up at this stage and has plenty of time to consider his options.

Must be the first time you've believed anything that's come out of Shaun Wane's mouth.

Isn’t it strange that the first time you believe something Wane has said, suits your agenda.

Tommy is having a cracking season and it baffles me that some people can’t see it. As for Lockers, who is still good enough to be England captain being finished, well in all honesty, words fail me.
Both are clearly in the twilight of their careers but both are still performing to a high standard. I’d hope to see both have at least 1 more season.

Lockers is like a tampax 1 week in and 3 weeks out hes been a good servant to Wigan his body is shattered its time to call it a day no matter how good he is .In my post I was trying to highlight with the players leaving and new coach coming in its time to have a complete rebuild at Wigan. But with the extended contracts of Powell and Isa and Tauti average players at the best its going to be a tough job.

Are you for real? SOL is still an outstanding player with plenty to offer. Admittedly his age contributes to the number of injuries he gets but he is more than worthy of his place.

TL overall is playing well at hooker and again well worthy of his place.

As for the others to a certain extent I’d agree we have a number of average players however the salary cap dictates that we and every other club have to. Powell and Isa imo are worthy of their places in the squad, both I’d expect to be on very average salary’s. I’ll give you Tautai though, I think we could do better.

SOL is still a quality player but he will miss games at his age. We should have his successor at the club already and be blooding him, but with Bateman going that may be unlikely.

I can see where you’re coming from, to an extent regarding injuries. However to say Lockers is like Tampax is absurd, where’s your proof to back that up? In comparison to any other Wigan players injuries how many more games has he missed last season and this season? I don’t think you’ll find much difference between him and other players in the squad personally.

I think he’s got at least 1 maybe 2 more seasons in him. And I’m bloody glad to; when he’s on his game, which is more often than not, he’s easily one of, if not the best player in a Wigan jersey.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

To say you are looking for players is folly.. Just puts price up..
