It's not that difficult to understand. You can loan players from any club, minimum period 28 days to start with. DR deals are between clubs linked, Cas/Fax, Leeds/Feb and these are done week to week
DR is different to loan deals so the agreement between clubs for DR doesn't apply to loan
Loan deal sees wages in some cases covered, to some degree by club taking the player on loan
Yes we see the difference, it has been covered so many times and I for one am sick to death of hearing about it.
The differences equal the same thing in the end which is not difficult to understand.
The parent club in both cases offers out it's players to another club simply to get them some game time because for whatever reasons they weren't getting picked for the parent club, this could cover a full season or just one week.
The parent club in both cases are doing it first and foremost purely to look after their interests.
Whilst the receiving club may or may not benefit in the short term, which is highly debatable, the long term negative implications are many and far more worrying.
It's been well muted that SL clubs want to cut funding to the rest.
It's been well muted that SL clubs would like an Aussie style comp with an elite league and then the rest.
It's a fact that many SL clubs have scrapped their reserves sides and instead ship out these players to the rest.
It's a fact that the rest are relying more and more on these players and the majority of the time supporters of these clubs are watching players who they know little about and may or may not be here the following week.
All this is leading to loss of identity as a club for the rest and more of the feeder club scenario.
I can't be bothered with it anymore and in connection with it all they can do what they like for me.
PS: I still blame RFF.
