Yeah Leigh won yesterday and a win is a win. However, should a full time squad with SL & NRL experience within it just be scraping a victory against a team that's filled with plumbers, sales assistants & so on ? I know the conditions were poor but that was the same for both teams. Therefore, overall was Leigh's performance that good at this stage into the season ? Not meaning to be negative just realistic.

Yes. The conditions and the pitch were a great leveller (no pun intended), but the Leigh defence, especially in the second half, was outstanding.
oh, and remember, these plumbers and sales assistants beat you here in better conditions 2 years ago

I think he means the alleged quality of the leigh team . Plus i think you had a far better team 2 yrs ago tbh

At THIS point in THIS season, it was just what the doctor ordered. If this is the best you can do, then I'd give up if I were you.

WHAT A clown! Any win at mount pleaseang is a good way you doubt go there and win easily! Especially not in them conditions! I was worried before the game as the problem has been lack of effort and commitment and they could of easy rolled over and thought I'm not arsed it's freezing but too good batley too 0 Is the biggest plus! Our defence has been rubbish all year so that was a tremendous effort and hopefully This is a big moment in the season

I'm definitely with you on this. Having witnessed the lowest point (this season) at Halifax, I honestly wouldn't have backed them to beat anybody. And if you'd told me we would go eighty minutes without conceding a try, I would have laughed at you, based on our 'defensive' efforts so far. Ok, so the conditions helped us there, but we didn't seem to cope at all with muddy conditions at Barrow, did we?

I'm glad the younger players got a chance - Blagborough next, please - because they will have been less affected by the slump in confidence, and seemed to have brought some enthusiasm and spirit to the side. Hopefully, we can build on that, come Sunday.
