Clubb is ok for me and the rotations are as important from game to game as within games.
He's played 5 games with the same combinations and subs. He needs to bring in another prop to get him match fit for when injuries occur. Someone needs to drop out and I think he should be selecting 4 or 5 from 6 props for each game on a rotating basis.
If Waney goes too long with these props then when injuries happen the incoming player won't be SL match fit.

Navarette played for Swinton today which is good to see. He should definitely be in the side next week now with Tautai dropping out. It was another workshy performance from Tautai on Friday and his impact was lower then it’s ever been.

and what's with Budgie?

It was like watching Mark Calderwood, one run and he was coughing his guts up like a miner and out of the game for 15 mins

I wasn't at this game, but this isn't new for Budgie. I've seen him throw up mid-game a few times even when he was in his best form.

Budgie has always been a spectacularly projectile vomiter. He regularly did it pre Aus but that was usually after he had run the length of the field.

Definitely seen him do it at academy level and when he first started getting a run in the first team. Just his body I suppose.

I thought Burgess had a pretty good game on Friday. It wasn’t classic Burgess by any means but it was a step in the right direction. In truth it must be tough being the opposite winger in the side to Tom Davies because people will always question your work rate in comparison. I thought Davies had been reasonably quiet so far this season but a quiet game for him is making 120+ metres. He was back (well) above 200m on Friday night and that’s just massive for this team.
