Lebanon giving it a go. All credit to them.

I see Lebanon has been added to the teams for the Pacific tests in mid season (SOO weekend).
I don't know how they are a Pacific team, but they have earned a shot.
They are getting better every game.

In the ground it looked a poor video ref call that denied them a chance to level the scores late on.
“You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”

Yeah but the try that took them to 22 points there was a player downtown on the right edge who got involved in the next play so should've been denied.

Lebanon have had the hardest run so far in playing Australia, England and Tonga. They were so unlucky today and on another day they could have won. Full credit to Fittler and the team for going beyond expectations. Mitchell Moses and the number 4 for them were great today.

For once I found myself agreeing with Robbie Farah's moaning. The disallowed try for the 4 should have stood imo, and when he complained about getting taken off the ball I thought it should have been a penalty too.

If ever there was a boy who cried wolf, though, it's Robbie Farah. Personally I thought the obstruction call was correct, but that one is arguable. But as Wigg'n says, they definitely had a player inside the 10 for one of their scores.

Can't stand Farah but he's been marvellous for Lebanon.
