There is nothing in the national anthem for me. 'God save the queen'.I don't believe in god , I don't believe in the monarchy and why does the queen need saving?.She is a fabulously wealthy person.It is poverty stricken working class people that need saving in this country and also in the queens 'commonwealth' that she seems to be so proud of.

There's nothing about our country in there, just a ditty about one woman's health & puts us in our place as she see's us, as mere plebs. The Royal Family are a bunch of parasites, leaching off the hard work of the people of this country for 1,000 years.

Never understand why Wales and Scotland have their own rousing anthems but England (and NI) are stuck with GSTQ, is it a case of England are seen as Great Britain while the others are accepted independent countries? either way it's not very passionate or rousing.

I think they used to use GSTQ (seem to remember reading that Scotland football fans eventually ended up booing it) but then they decided they wanted something more specific, whereas England just kept using it. I don't like GSTQ as a national anthem and I don't sing it when I attend England matches of whatever sport.

I see that members of the Royal Family have once again managed to attend this weekend's RU internationals but can't be bothered to attend the RLWC ie the more exciting version of the game.

They're in London for Remembrance Sunday, bit of a difference to nipping over to Twickenhan than travelling over to Australia.

Surely the chip on some RL fans shoulders can't be that big even after I pointed out Prince Harry didn't go to a Lions match even though he was in Australia at the time.

If it was a home WC you'd have a point, but it's not so you just look daft.

At the last count there's plenty of Royal Family members to cover if Harry had travelled to Australia and as they observe Rememberence day in Australia he could have attended that also.

After watching haka at the start of the NZ Tonga, couldn't we incorporate something like this. I was thinking maybe a Morris dance and as they skip around James Graham could skip around and hit the opposition with a pigs bladder, no bells of course, that would be silly. Would love to see this brought in. Come on England!!

So you think Remembrance Sunday is just about having enough Royal Family to "cover" the occasion.

That you're criticising someone for attending Remembrance Sunday over a RL match in Australia where even the coach has put out a 2nd strong side is ridiculous.

Damn Prince Harry, he shouldn't be remembering those who have lost their lives for this country, he should be watching Kevin Brown at HB and Stefan Ratchford play on the wing.....that's more important.
