Thanks to everyone who listened tonight.

Gaskell we be a huge loss, but with Addy and Purtell in the halves, I'm confident we can finally start to make it happen.

So we already need a halfback, but we would be better without the only one we have????????

Gaskell has a hamstring injury. Another three/four weeks.

Yes, I get that bit. What I was asking is why you think that losing our only recognised half-back will lead to us "finally getting it right". That is all.

Purtell and Addy are two of my favourite players. That said, it is a joke having them at H/B. "Make it happen" in what way? We are sick of playing with no scrum half already and now no halfbacks at all. What's the point? Whether or not we beat Championship teams despite no halfbacks, surely everyone can see the utter futility of going into games against SL clubs with either one or none halfbacks?

Not just me that is beginning to find it a bit insulting to the paying support that we still seem to be no closer to filling arguably the most important position in any RL side. Hopefully the new coach might be able to call in a favour from somewhere and finally fill the no.7 shirt.

No its not just you. I've been finding it increasingly insulting since the middle of last season when it was patently obvious we needed another half. But we signed outside back after outside back and some more backrowers. To then go a whole off season and not fix it was IMHO a dereliction of duty, but some on here said it's fine, wait to sign one for the 8's.....which I guess has also been the logic from Jimmy and/or ferris. But it's incorrect. I really do hope getting a half in is the first thing our new coach does. Is there not even a loan option open to us in the whole of rugby league??
