Living down South I am not privvie to being able to keep track of our young up and coming hopefuls.
Is this a good move, have we lost a future star, have we someone we have our eyes on as Rob B relief?

I would welcome the thoughts of more knowledgable chaps / chapesses.

He's decent enough but for me he was never a SL 7 or at least not for the Rhinos but shoukld be comfortable at Championship level.
He will also add versatillioty for Barrow because he can cover at 9 and 1.

I believe he is related (Son of) Leo Casey, also Calum Casey (Brother of) who plays for Halifax.

He was an Ok player, I agree would not have made SL level but he is promising. Towards the end of the season he wasn't the first choice 6,7, 9 or 1 in the U20s. But having that ability to play in them positions is a good trait to have. Has a good in field kicking game but needs to work on his goal kicking IMO.

Would you sooner have Olly Olds if you had a choice? I wonder?

W55ARE-Re-Olds i though he looked to have stacks of potential when he played in the u20's and seemed highly rated in Wales as did Jack Pring but it seems both have been released unelss you know different.
