6-0 down at the break after a display of random refereeing by the officials. Baffling.

you got a rough deal from the officials AS USUAL, but you are your own worst enemy at times! comes with the style that you play I guess.

Own worst enemies, correct. Not sure I take the point about style of play. I just think we have a lot of idiots on the squad.

Just came up short tonight, but the inconsistent performance from the officials reminded me why I don't watch the game much any more. I'm not blaming the officials per se, more the codification of the rules as they stand. Not enough black and white, too much open to interpretation and that leads inevitably to inconsistency and frustration.

Great game last night. Unlucky not to go away with something. The intensity of both defences was superb. Hope you can repeat defence on Saturday  and re find your attacking flair.

Re: Daunting Monday trip to Wire : Tue Jul 10, 2012 8:40 pm
10 of us made the trip from North Wales last night to add to the Catalan support.

Just finished watching Warrington v Catalans match on the Super League Show. James Childs played on twice before changing his mind after seeing the tackles on the big screen. Neither were high shots (first was on the shouder then caught the jaw, second was arm across the ball). At 10 - 6 Catalan were still in the game. These decisions cost Catalan and I stand by my statement that Childs is not fit to referee Super League. BTW he also missed a Warrington foot on the whitewash which should have resulted in a kick out from under the sticks rather than Warrington romping down the pitch. More annoyed now than I was last night at the game.

BTW I thought it vas very remiss of the Catalan players NOT coming to appaud their travelling fans from Perpignon. Surely the players must realise that their fans spend a considerable ammount of money and time travelling to support them and the least they could do after a game is come over to say 'thanks'

FYI, I gave man of the match points out for the first time in ages (nobody tells me anything any more) as follows:

MoM and 3 points: Jason Baitieri
2 points: Menzies
1 point: Fef

Player of the year table

thought Menzies had a quiet game (by his standards)
