Not really Cleary has done similar before.

The old Penrith board gave out big deals without getting any 3 party deals involved.

3 Penrith players are taking up a third of the cap.

I just laughed the Luke Lewis off at first but their just might be something in this. Although I'm not getting my hopes up.

Me neither, but would be nice. Then again I never thought we'd have got Gareth Ellis so who knows. Just don't see AP buying the club, stating he wants success then not going out and getting the best available. Think the recruitment when done will make us all happy.
I'm sure he's stated that some of the signings made will make us fans more than happy so just dont see him making that kind of statement without backing it up. He has always been true to his word when with City and now Hull FC, it didnt matter whether it was good or bad news he would tell the fans honestly.

Probably why they're bobbins compared to most of the rest of the NRL.

I seem to remember a rumour on here about a current SOO forward coming to us. 2 + 2 = 5 (Lewis?)

Lewis won't be coming.

On the halfback front I keep hearing strong rumours about Holdsworth and Chase. Personally I think Chase is the better player and also younger. However I really rate Holdsworth, long before he came to SL and he also brings with him goal kicking.

I'd be very happy with either tbh.

Holdsworth done from what i hear - was excellent against Rovers yesterday - kicking, organisation and just getting them round the pitch
