If there is no chance, then no, there isn't any point really.

I refuse to accept anything said by Wakefield fans who know absolutely zip about GH or inside GH other than rumours and forum posts. There is nothing stopping GH except money. If we had money, it would have been built or would be built. It seems to be you that cannot grasp that fact.

Please, please return to the discussion and stop focusing on your personal attentions of me.

You ask for all that you recieve I'm afraid and ostrich like impression is at times cringeworthy. I take no pleasure in having to exchange messages to correct your niaive attempts to find flaws within our potential new ground and I am on record in several places suggesting that I wish GH the best of luck - I genuinely want both, so yes - it is only you who seem to try to take the high ground but only result in what others see as merely 'trolling'.

As for GH, it is possible that other people have contact with companies and individuals who are directly or indirectly involved in what's going on down there - I am aware of a couple at least - and some who have feed-back from some high-level executives of companies linked with buying WR in particular. To not accept that anything said outside of RW's office is just unbelievable and undermines any credibility that you may otherwise accrue.

The truth is that you cannot build GH at this time - it may be because of money (including the £1m link road no-one wants to pay for), but you cannot 'build it tomorrow' and it will take a long time and some significant political will (which I think you have) to change that!

Without trawling through all today's posts and not getting wound up by the inbred trolls, just a brake down how we stand.
Last Monday ldf resulted in Newmarket being advised to come out of green belt.
PI decision was due today but been delayed no timescale announced.
Council meeting tomorrow to discuss LDF (why couldn't they meet before PI decision)
We could be given the green light from tomorrow onwards.

Thats pretty much as I see it.

Council meeting dates are often set up months in advance so the date will have been set before the date of the PI announcement. The Council will endorse its own LDF tommorow so will become "law" and the land will be taken our of greenbelt and desingated as B8 which in planning terms is distribution.

I would not be surprissed if we get an announcement before the end of the week but I cannot see any reason why we will have to wait much longer. There is however I believe a 6 week period by which there could (unlikely) be a Judicial Review so we are noy clear until 6 weeks from the announcement.

The Council cannot pay for maintenance. That will be the responsibility of Wakefield District Community Trust. If not them, the owners.

If the Council do put any money towards upkeep I expect all Cas fans to do something about it - I don't want MY taxes going towards things like that when the roads are a joke, Pontefract Hospital is struggling to make ends meet and other things need prioritising.

He likes to portray himself as the voice of reason, but (if it is the same person) in reality he seems quite devious.

Re: Tick Tock : Tue Jun 19, 2012 10:01 pm
How is that devious?

I think that there are better things to be prioritising taxes on right at this minute, just as I wouldn't think it would be right if you lot were paying in any way more than what is already agreed for the Cas stadium. Is Ponte A+E not an issue? Are public transport stations, for the most part, not a bit of a joke and in dire need of improvement? Are the roads not a state? They certainly are where I've been and the amount of potholes are becoming ridiculous. Sorry but now you're just being silly to portray me in a bad light. And this could really be classified as harassment.

As I've already mentioned anyway, that is the responsibility of WDCT/whoever owns it (and this is something I've said on one of the other threads on the Cas RLFans page in the last few days too and was agreed with by I_A). Anyway, back on topic, I would suggest.
