cru v oldham : Fri Jun 08, 2012 8:14 pm
This should be a cracker this sunday. Oldham will be out for revenge and with the return of some of our injured players I can see a good performance from the lads. I'll go for 32 - 24 to the cru.

Yep a good chance to do the double over Oldham, kicking on from the last time we met. Interesting to see the team sheet with players coming back from injury and new signings particularly when a lot of the lads who've filled in have really stepped up. All coming together nicely to be a force to be reckoned with in the second half of the season.

Just hope the Racecourse isn't waterlogged with all this rain, as it was for the Wales v Italy game a while back. Summer rugby!!

Looking forward to a win for a change - not raining here in Newtown at the moment, so fingers crossed.

Turned out to be sunny afternoon in Wrexham in more ways than one.

30-28 final score and a double over Oldham. 10-0 up in the first ten minutes, with 20 minutes of madness to trail 10-22 at half-time. Team showed great character and commitment to come back in the second half for a thrilling finish. Some great tries, even a match winning conversion from wide out.

Exciting second half of the season in prospect with a team of commited, ever improving players.

I think you're right about the 2nd half of the season leyther. Looking at the fixtures we will surprise a few teams yet. I can see at least 3 wins, possibly 4 with the way we're improving. Happy times ahead.
