No it was not. Selective memory syndrome

Although the hooter had (apparently) gone, Ganson didn't blow for full-time until the ball had already been played which meant it should have still been in play when Jay Duffy dropped the goal.

It seems the mighty Peter Gentle couldn't coach his team to a win when they were winning by 20 points in the second half, trumped by the terrible worst coach in the history of Super League, Richard Agar.

One win against a very poor Hull side hardly cements Agar's place as a top coach.

Let them enjoy the odd win. For the sake of Wakey and RL, I hope Agar doesn't make watching RL seem like the massive chore it did while he was at Hull.

malcom reilly was crap at that giants his man management of the players was shocking, made schoey look a good coach

I thought the predictable anti Agar drivel from Hull fans was funny, but this is gold medal.

So Mal Reilly who crowned an illustrious coaching career with an NRL GF win has no man management skills! UNREAL

I suggest in many cases on this thread but especially on this one fans look at the senile BOD and the often gutless and talentless bunch of players these men had to deal with - most of whom were not fit to lace Malcom's boots - and as a Wakey fan that's hard to say.

Correct, and not finishing bottom and/or getting you relegated hardly makes him the worst does it.

The job at Hull was to big for him, but he's not the first and judging by yesterday won't be the last.

Fat blokes in the mud, flat caps, bogs that drain pi55 directly onto your boots - Now it's all 'Big Ask', 'Arm Wrestle', 'Collision' 'Contact' 'Facials' 'Upper Body Strength' 'Big Units' 'Scooting from Dummy Half' 'Energy Levels' 'Laying the Platform' ‘Middles’ and 'T-R-Y'. Let’s not forget resilience.

He certainly turned a top team into a mediocre team, whereas lots of the others made mediocre or poor team worse.

I think a lot of Reilly's problem was that he himself was so ultra competitive (frighteningly but funnily so if you read Matt Johns' book on him), and I think just really struggled with average players.
