Anyone interested in maybe starting up another proffesional rugby league club in blackpool or nearby area send me an email : kev7859@live.co.uk I am in contact with supporters direct with regards a supporter/community owned and run club. May or may not be fessable but need support from people first and foremost as going to be a hard and long task and cant do it on my own. May or may not be the answer but cant sit back and do nothing. Up the panthers

Im pretty sure Fleetwood RUFC are, or have been looking at the possibility of getting a rugby league team going. Problem is, their "ground" probably wouldnt be of championship standard.

I heard that too, but I think they were thinking Summer Conference, not semi pro.

Fleetwood sharks i think the new rugby team is called but think they are conference and struggle to get a team up every week

I'd love to see the return of Rugby League in Blackpool. Can't believe it hasn't been mentioned too much.
