Tonight we have received planning permission for a 500 seat stand, an enclosed pitch, floodlights, a Muga and a new two storey building including 6 changing rooms ,fitness room , functions rooms and multi media rooms.

From tomorow we will start seeking and securing funding for the project. Planning premission was the easy bit now the real hard work starts.

The planning stage has taken nearly two years to complete and it was good to see that the whole of the planning committee was behind the scheme.

Are you sure that they weren't all behind you pushing you through the not yet widened doors

What will be the main source of funding?

Lottery grant?

Hopefully various funding bodies and our own cash.

Would this make the ground up to Championship standards?

Will be OK for Championship 1 and probably for Championship.

There are other stadium developments at Hemel which will make interesting reading in a couple of months.....................
