Are Gateshead bidding for a WC match? : Wed Jul 27, 2011 9:10 am

I don't think I have heard any news with regards to Gateshead hosting a match at the 2013 RLWC. It's disappointing because I think it would have been nice to see them host a match after sticking it out and surviving over 13 years in the lower leagues.

Any news? The bid application deadline has passed has it not?
