After our display against Oldham I did not really expect todays result OK you could argue that London had nothing to play for as they have already secured 2nd place/seed and perhaps we wanted it more can we do it again on Friday Leigh ? well possibly but yet again unlikely if you look at leigh's record in this season and last 2 REGULAR seasons record 55-2-3 mighty impressive hopefully they will go up this year (just to get them out of this division) but it would be funny if they don't but then again what would that say about the strength of Championship Rugby League ?

So Can we win the Championship Shield ?

Yes possibly but bloody stupid name for a trophy when top 4 Championship sides are not playing in it and we are 12 points behind 5th place (ie 6 games) and we can still win in just 2 games silly format if you ask me but would I change perhaps 1st place gets a bye to the final and 2nd and 3rd play off for a place in the final but then we would have nothing to play for so that will never work no crowds no admission money

Can we get Relegated ?

Its been a bizarre season we are 3 points clear (4 if you include our superior points difference) but our defence is playing a lot better now and if you can outscore fev and London 67-24 in the last 3 matches that is excellent form but considering our record against teams in the lower half I would not be surprised if we continue to think that we are too big a team to go down and struggle again the likes of Swinton Oldham and 2 Cumbrian Sides

Somehow this excellent result didn't exactly me as the tam have been able to raise their game against the better teams in the Championship. It is their inability on other occasions to beat the poorer teams.

It does give me hope that next season will I be a much better once..

Not so. At the start of the game they needed to win. It was only after the game when it became clear Batley and Halifax had lost that they realised they had second place.

In any case, all teams want to win - and keep winning. Winning is a habit you want to keep.

The way results are going at the moment, we'll probably beat Leigh and lose to Whitehaven.
