I thought that despite the score, you played well last night.
Tackling in particular was of a high standard, particularly in
the second half.
Throughout, the enthusiasm of the Eagles was very good.
Few gaps were made through direct runs by our forwards and
it was pace from the backs that was the crucial advantage.
Good vocal support from the Sheffield fans in that second half.
Just wish the city of Sheffield showed you a bit more support.
You certainly deserve it.
How are the plans for your new stadium going, you need to be in
better facilities than a university sports ground, if only for credibility.

Thanks - definitely an improvement. We just didn't have enough ball. Wakefield had almost twice as many sets as us. The ref certainly didn't do us any favours and I thought the 12-3 penalty count just didn't reflect the play. Especially as one of the 3 was an obvious offside after a knock on.
