Message from the Board Of Directors:
The Sheffield Eagles Board Of Directors would like to update supporters on the squad for the coming season and the playing venue for 2016. The signing of the 2016 squad is almost complete with Mark Aston and his coaching team putting together what they believe to be the best squad of players since the club last graced Super League. The Board has provided Mark with the largest playing budget since the club’s reformation and he has our complete backing and full support. We fully understand that fans are impatient to be immediately aware of every single signing now but to help us provide maximum exposure and consistent coverage we are planning to announce a new signing every Monday and a re-signing every Wednesday. This process will continue tomorrow morning so please check sheffieldeagles.com from 6.00am. The Board and Staff Members are continuing to work behind the scenes, preparing for the upcoming pre-season and the 2016 season. We are still in discussions with regards to our 2016 playing venue and this, along with our kick off times and season tickets details will be announced in due course.
