I woundn't put much stead by Mr Lowes comments he may not be with them much longer - with a budget he's had this year and not suceeded I think he should fall on his sword (or be pushed)!

The first 2 of the new signings to be announced am on Monday.

Will it be those that have been rumoured?

Those required for the spine of the side?

Better known names,or up and coming youngsters?

Although I'm excited I hope something special is kept back for the season launch and lots more information is released,slowly,after Ireland complete their European games.

Well,I didn't expect these 2 signings - from the club who played so well in the LCC at The Keepmoat and who looked almost certain promotion candidates even though in my heart of hearts I wanted Keighley Cougars to be promoted - firstly after the dual reg controversy and later in the year following the tragic sudden death of Danny Jones. Adam Neal,from Oldham,was formerly at Salford,after being the next best young player off the Warrington Academy conveyor belt. I remember him being in the RLW magazine.I have found this accolade for him from the coach of the year for 2015,Richard Marshall,playing in a game where a few well-known names feature - REPORT George Tyson,also from Oldham,was rumoured to spend some leisure time in the leisure facilities in Leigh.I am delighted he has been rescued from those temptations and will be back with a similar opportunity to reach the top of his profession in a full time environment,surrounded by the best people,in and around Sheffield. I am of the opinion both these players left Salford while Brian Noble was in charge.That Noble who signed Hock and Hansen. More of an incentive.Welcome to the club Adam and George and have a great pre-season and 2016 campaign.
