Not sure about the Beaumont / Dixon / Hock thing. But Leigh chairman has said we're 25% below the cap. And given I don't know any of the salaries, I'm not in a position to question it. Are you?

I have typed out elsewhere that I ain't bothered.If I was,I may communicate with someone who may not only give a care,but do something about it. Someone who did breach the salary cap,together with other misdemeanours,at Barrow was banned from RL for 8 years. He got done for putting money in. To be honest if the structure pans out correctly,it should work better for the championship clubs. How you deal with the extra income from those middle 8 games is what sets your future in SL. Unless of course you have youth coming through,as in stars of the future.

Jury's still out for me. Signs are encouraging but - as you say - much depends on how the clubs deal with it. It's still early days.

I have actually only got about 13 definites if you care to check again, mate.

The others have the word "Just" next to them. Meaning that if we keep that many players that are just good enough for SL, then we'll probably be really up against it more weeks than not.

The Centurions will be full of confidence going into the Super 8’s but should they gain promotion their current team will not compete in Super League on a week to week basis. Their management will know they will need to overhaul their current squad if they are to be strong enough to retain a Super League place in the long term.
