If they're only building a 5,000 capacity stadium how is Super League a possibility in a few years? Surely the club wouldn't be able to fund doubling stadium capacity at such short notice? Would there even be room to increase capacity?

It's disappointing that there's been no in depth report anywhere since the meeting.

I think the club and those running it are far in advance of those elsewhere.

I went past on the old don valley on the supertram tonight it is all level now and new buildings is starting to appear so hopefully i wont take to long to construct the new stadium and facilities however whether it is in time for the start of next season is open to question. Even if we were lucikly enough to get in the super league we would probably only average about 3 thousand so we have no need fora massive stadium however looking at the plans there is a lot of empty space on the opposite side of the main stand no doubt we could extend there if we really needed too

Not sure that we want to be playing on a brand new pitch - even a 4G one - in the middle of February. It might be better to leave it until the weather's a bit better.

Whatever the actual crowds, we're going to need space for more than 3000 or we won't be in $uper£eague. Minimum standards are still with us.
