Minor point, I know, but I wonder what implications a Leave vote would have on European Super League. It's a bit different to the Champions League or equivalents.

You are right... I was thinking about how the reintroduction of borders etc. would impact on cost of travel and whether the fans from the UK would reconsider their annual trip to Perpignan for their team meeting the Dragons.

The whole referendum has been fought on a single issue generally.

The hatred in my part of the world based on Eastern European migration has been vicious.

It's been the grubbiest, shabbiest campaign in my living memory (which is quite a long time). And the concept of plebiscites such as this undermines the concept of a parliamentary democracy. I hope there is never another.
