Agreed that we were below par but top teams need to grind out wins when they are off the boil.

Another game i ended up watching on mute because of (some) Sky commentators' simmering disdain of us. To be fair, they were very complementary and fair last week in the Saints game but back to normal with Bill Arthur on the mic today. McDermott was literally cheerleading for Salford at times.

I think we need gigot at fullback.Hull ran escare ragged in the last match last season,which we were very lucky to win-Sneyd missed all six conversions.Horo or Anderson should play centre . This will deprive us of speed in the centre but so be it.I also thought Duport had a very poor game defensively. We were bragging last week about how well we keep the line of defence,but Duport kept breaking out of it

Forwards including Horo- Taylor 9 Bousquet 7Casty 7 Mason 7 Stewart 6-his least influential game-Horo 6 Anderson 7 Da Costa 5 Bosc 8-his best game this season Baitieri 8 ditto. Overall just too many penalties knock ons and defensive howlers compared with the st. Helens game

Further thoughts; Since pellissier will be back we could perhaps play Bosc at centre or at full back. I also thought we missed mounis yesterday.
