Here is the squad list and a bit more detail on the upcoming season.
As the first team campaign has fizzled out with a whimper I am quite looking forward to it...
Catalans Dragons reserve team headcoach Cyrille Gossard announced his squad for the 2015/16 Elite season.
The Saint-Estève XIII Catalan staff has made several changes with the arrival of 9 players from the Dragons U19 and the signing of 5 new players including Featherstone Rovers half back Rémy Marginet who comes back at the club, Pierre Nègre (Lézignan), Martial Romano (Avignon), Allan Torreilles (Limoux) and Philippe Espagne (USAP).
“We’ll stick to our policy of promoting players using our youth development system and bringing young French players to the club. This season will again see us have the youngest team in the Elite Championship. We look forward to welcoming a lot of players from U19 team who have come through our system and who are now over-age this season. We have proven in past seasons that we could be competitive with a team composed of only French players with an average age of around 22 and I am sure we will continue to be competitive this season." Said Gerard Caillis, Saint-Esteve XIII Catalan chairman.
