It remains to be seen whether Taylor,Horo and Aiton will match the players they are replacing.There is much outrage on the French website that Carney is once again not playing.When I saw him at Leeds a fortnight ago he seemed for the first time to not be carrying an injury.Since we are now safe it may be prudent to get him fully fit for next year.On the other hand we have now lost 5 games in a row.Bosc has shown serious signs of decline this year and one cannot see him turning that round in 2016.Finally Myler and Richards are 2 more signings who are not as good as they used to be.All in all I really do wonder if we will be in the top 8 this time next year.The only plus points are the continued improvement of Bousquet and Yaha-the only French back I have ever seen ,who is not terrified of the high ball.

Horo was brilliant for Manly this morning. Their joint best forward, looks to be a good signing. Aiton is a superior hooker to Henderson and Taylor could be brilliant or he could turn out to be a dud. I think we will do well next year. I'd be looking to try get Fages in sometime in the near future. Especially as he is desperate to leave Salford.

Wow that would be an incredible signing. At expense of someone? Bosc? Carney?

Bosc is 32 now, so can't go on forever. Who knows where Carney ends up next season. I'm still saying Manly, but you just don't know.

I hope Fages is not replacing Carney.Carney ,despite his few appearances ,has shown himself to be a world class player whereas Fages is merely a world class whinger and an average superleague halfback.

I agree that Carney is world class but if he is gonna be injured all the time I would prefer Fages
