Still waiting for DGM to explain how he knows that he’s a horrible man. I don’t know him personally but clearly he does.

The fans get frustrated as it seems Rovers haven’t learnt their lesson after been relegated to the championship. During the season that saw Rovers relegated it was obvious the squad lacked depth , Peacock arrogantly stayed we didn’t need to recruit , then weeks later felt the need to lace up his boots in the scrap for survival .

Hudgell has done a lot for the club , but he needs to understand the fans do get frustrated rightly or wrongly , but he should not critics the fans publicly .

There's far too many whingers at Craven Park these days. It's sounds a little too much like like a sharks game sometimes. A bit like you sound like a sharks fan.

My point is I find it condescending that he can criticise the fans for been negative , but then go on to say the following just before the start of the season :

JS:As the season approaches, is the feeling one of excitement after the difficulties of the past 18 months?

NH: Enjoyment went out of it for me a lot of years ago, there is no real enjoyment in it

JS: You say the enjoyment has gone, so where does the drive come from to keep running the club if it is not based on excitement? Could you walk away ?

NH: There is no queue of people waiting outside the door to come and talk to me and Rob Crossland about taking over the club, that’s the first thing to say.

JS: Do you still see yourself at the club long term then, whether that’s three years or five or more?

NH: I think we have to take it year by year. If someone is in a better position to take the club on then great
