Fartown are terrible at the moment, as most of their own fans will testify to. I see them as the most vulnerable. However I still expect them to tear Leigh a new one.

Every time they look like they've turned the corner (magic, Warrington, us the other week) they seem to plum new depths the week after. If I had to put money on it I would say all of the SL clubs will survive. But I think Huddersfield are slightly more vulnerable than you are.

Good luck btw. I enjoy seeing you get humiliated as much as the next man, but it would be a real shame to see you go down, not least because it will be tough to get back (just ask Bradford).

Just organising Jolly Boys outing for our game [leigh] with you, will we be in the new stand and how many does it hold, with a decent start we will bring 2000 or so for a vital game

You will get 800 North Stand tickets (seats) and up to 1600 South Stand terrace. However, with it being a televised game, I think your support will be nearer 1000 than your suggested.

Let's hope for a similar score line as your last visit, 10 years ago.

Surely they won't split away support up that standing section is below sea level!! Assuming there will be plenty of tickets available for a tv game would we be allowed in the side terrace like the old days, is mi owd mucker who used to go everywhere with the 10-5 flag still about? I do realise that could only be answered by the hardcore 1300 btw

You won't get any tickets for the East Stand, although it's possible they may allow you in the Well (small terrace under the West).

Looking at the squad Leigh have assembled through the year leading up to the middle 8's, I can only imagine the players brought in have been offered reduced wages with the promise, using the carrot that they will be increased next year when they are in the S/L. Otherwise it just ain't feasible that they have assembled that merry bunch of mercenaries on the wages from their previous clubs within the cap.

They haven't been paying them all since october though so the cost will be much reduced on the cap

If we do we'd be more than likely in the million pound game

Depends on other results. In theory a team could end up in the mpg with 5 wins. Only 4 wins and there's a good chance of it happening. On the other hand, we could come third with only three wins.

28 games will be played, so 56 points will be available. Three examples of how they could be distributed are:

12-10-10-10-6-6-2-0

14-10-8-8-8-4-2-2

14-12-6-6-6-6-4-2
