Its a further "don't blame us" piece...., to put 50% of the blame on bad luck or misfortune tells everything about what is truly wrong...

And recruitment doesn't end on the pitch...i wonder if the chairman would like to confirm or deny that he turned Motu Tony down before he went and built Hull into a top 3 side...???

Time for action not words.still trust hudgell but these last few seasons have been groundhog day.you cannot make same choices/actions that don't work then repeat them and expect different outcome.since Newton and Galea left particularly Newton we've been weak defending both sides 2nd row and centre.Thornley and Minns look full of potential put them alongside 2 grizzled tough locks and we are instantly more solid in line.its not rocket science.horne donno Clarkson Larroyer are all good lads but a good big un will generally beat a good little un,especially in league

Nice way to speak about fans : "Especially by the handful of empty vessels who have done nothing constructive other than throw out gratuitous insults. My message to them is that the jobs yours any time you want it, but I'm sure you won't, as you haven't the balls to do it"

I think the majority of that blog is very good, true and honest. Couple of parts I don't agree with, needs big actions not words next year.

Seems a broadly fair and reasonable summation to me.

Injuries, poor recruitment and 'bad luck' are intertwined, of course. An experienced coach who can give us a non-awful pre-season and maybe sprinkle a bit of positivity about would be welcome. We need 3 or 4 new/extra players who are more than just shirt-fillers or kids with potential for him to have a shot at making a meaningful difference though, I fear.

Fair comments as far as I'm concerned, I don't understand people's need to abuse Neil or Rob on social media, they have admitted that they got it wrong in the past that's why they brought in Jamie Peacock.
We are undergoing major changes with Peacock's 5 year plan, it just takes a bit of time for progress to be visible, things can't change overnight.

Personally not convinced by Peacock, Surley he was involved in pre season and recruitment. Seems to have lots of other business interests and had now just accepted the England job.
