To be fair Des You stuck to your guns about Campese and was right in the end but I think the clubs hands were tied regarding what went on with his contract

I don't see Rovers as a real contender for relegation, even without your talisman you have proved at Cas,home versus Leeds and against us,in two matches this year that without him you are capable and hard to beat, for any SL opposition and would have far too much for any lower league team. I seriously think Huddersfield may be the team most likely to go down, there is definitely something not right within a team that boasts their depth of talent. I hope so anyway, however bitter we are towards each other, SL as an entity and both teams need the prospect of close , high pressure derby games in order to break the monopoly that the successful teams have enjoyed of late.

Frankie,,nothing would have given me more pleasure than for me to be wrong,and campese help lift us into the super 8s,but after14 years of hammer in the nrl the body cant take it anymore,weyman and campese are 2 perfect examples of that.
