SL derby record : Mon May 23, 2016 12:31 pm  

Since 2007, thats now 30 derbies with 15 wins each.

Hull have now won the last 4 competitive derbies in a row.

I have been watching Hull since 1981. I cannot recall any time in those 35 year that either side has won 4 on the bounce.

Does anyone know when this last happened?

Amazing really, I remember getting told after our 2006 promotion how we'd be lucky to win a game, not win away from home and get relegated first year back. 4 Derbies that year were 8 easy points and here we are in 2016 and we've got you crowing about finally catching us up...

Fickle bunch aren't they, when we were beating them regular they didn't want to know the derby games, now it's different. If they'd have had their way earlier this season with the 'Radford out' demands where would they be now.

So that's 15 times Rovers have just wanted it more and 15 times Hull have demonstrated their superiority, eh?

Fwiw, I vaguely recall from the Rovers official history that Hull had a longish run, when they were much the stronger of the two teams in the 1950s, and Rovers won a few in row in the 1960s as fortunes for both clubs changed.

I doubt there will have been a longer winning run in the 15 or so years you've been a club
