Some players such as Dixon need support in defence. Some players like Horne need support in attack. Some players like Blair can do it without any support. Some players like Tilse need support in both. Which one's are tge most costly to keeping the side balanced?

After today I can no longer defend Kieran "can't pass or catch" Dixon. Not even Championship quality. Tilse has found his level against a Championship side however.

There is s point when just having speed isn't enough mantallato is slow really for a winger but offers so much more to a team

dixon is rubbish end of. The odd wonder try out of nothing doesn't make up for error after error every week.

The fact that most of the Oldham players will be back to work on Monday makes it even better.

So leaving aside our other players, what will today's shocker of a performance from Dixon do for his future prospects. Will he even get a 2 From Westmoreland in the HDM this week?

I don't think Dixon can be singled out today bad as he was he wasn't alone

I like him a lot and I've defended him to a ridiculously overboard level but I can't stick up for him today.

I do still think he's a scapegoat though, all the outside backs were starved of possession today, unfortunately when the ball got to Dixon he either dropped it or just wanged it wherever.

Mantellato doesn't have the speed and elusiveness that Dixon has, but he has so much more to his game and doesn't concede more tries than he scores ........When we signed Dixon I wanted so much for him to be the next Jason Robinson, but he has turned out to be the next Omari Caro .......A Championship player at best! .......Oh well, I guess Oakes is the next winger we will put our faith in! ........Come the end of the year, we need to offload Dixon because he will never amend his weaknesses .......He is a championship player at best .......So sad!
