Although it is completely irrational, I take comfort in thinking that all our cup draw luck will come at once, in a big glorious dollop.

Same with the lottery - when I get no numbers (again), I think that getting one or two is a waste anyway - better to save up the luck and get 5 or 6 together.

I know they're independent events and it's a nonsensical way of thinking, but have no intention of looking at it any other way.

Disgracefully understated this post. We have beaten said Championship side twice away. That's consistency if nothing else.

Surely Rovers must be favorites to beat Wigan, if a Championship side can go their and only lose by one point?

C'mon Stan. Giving up before the game, we're past that aren't we? The apathy of the Sandercock days are over. Time to believe we can do it.

Although the contrast between our home and away form is stark, I'm with Moxi. I believe this is still a winnable game, cos' this side gives me reason to believe we can actually compete and beat other SL sides. Yeh, we've been a bit frep on the road, and Wigan are deep down still a top side, but why not? Time for a bit of positivity. Show the players a rerun of the effort Cas produced @ Wigan last year.

Like every game this season, it fully depends on which Rovers team turns up for the match. The one that worked hard and fought for everything to beat Saints or the one that lay down to watch Cas annihilate them.

Its a roller coaster season already, I've not been to one match expecting a win, but knowing every week, with this squad victory is possible if they turn up.
