Watts was an early developer. He's a talented kid, but as was so well demonstrated by the likes of Massey and Jewitt tonight, there's a lot to be said for simply hard running, and not making dozy errors.
These are two areas were Walker is generally pretty strong, especially compared to the probably more naturally gifted Watts, but he can't do it by himself.
Prop is the best example of a position where the old chestnut 'there's loads of talent in the Championship', is more than just wishful thinking. We've had some excellent props from the NRL - Micks Vella, Paea and Weyman, most obviously. Hopefully Dane Tilse will be a good 'un. But it is one area where I do sometimes think we have tended to look to the NRL a bit quickly.
Circumstance has meant we've asked a lot of Walker particularly, and until today the pack have mostly held their own, hopefully he'll get a bit more support across the rest of the season.
