That's a pretty pessimistic view of things things can change if you get a group of hungry skilful players who want to stay together as a team regardless of financial gain aka Leeds and win trophys . sin field alluded to this when he said money offers is not the issue. Of course the last two seasons we have had a high turnover of players which does not help the cause nor does swapping out coaches.

Don't get me wrong, what Hudgell and Crossland do for us is fantastic and i'd see this as Silver-age for Rovers. That people are even down in the mouth that we struggle to compete with Leeds and Wigan is testament to how far they've brought Rovers, IMO.

Pearson clearly wants the best for Hull too. But he's not just in it for the glory, and he's up against some well structured and well resourced opposition.

It isn't easy. Unless you've got a a fair few million you don't mind not seeing again and a fair wind behind you.

Top man, now that I think about it I do remember being surprised / impressed at seeing a small pocket of Rovers shirts in that stand from the opposite end.
In terms of Rovers underdog victories it doesn't get any better than that. Somebody posted on Facebook the pic of Stan on the fans shoulders, will put it on here when get chance.
