‎"They supercede individuals, they supercede the team and they supercede the club. Our club is a traditional, working class club and the supporters are loyal and passionate and to see them go away happy really makes my day." Craig Sandercock.

If we can sneak a win and Hull & Catalan go down to a defeat then it leaves us in a fantastic position going into the Catalan game. One solitary point off fourth and three points off Catalan for third. In two games time we could actually be one point off third spot after a disastrous start to the season.

Makes you wonder now if we didn't concede the last minute try at Castleford and the last minute penalty at home to saints. We'd could have gone joint third on Monday.

If you only knew the POWER of the dark side.

Technically its both.
Fount as in 'Fountain' of knowledge
Font as in 'Vessel' of knowledge.

IIRC both are dervived for the origional latin word 'Fons'.

Before anyone asks no I didn't just google that as I have had this discussion before.

I was wondering when someone would start to talk of 4th and beyond. Hey, at this rate we could win it. We're so good.

Snap back to reality.
We've come back to win the last two games from losing positions - ace. But, you highlight the pts we may have lost had we held on against Cas/Saints. Totally irrelevant. Just like the last two games (they could've gone the other way too). We're a work in progress, and happily going in the right way (at the mo). Looking back at results that could've of (but didn't) go the other way is pointless. Hey, we should'a (could'a) but dint, beat Bradford. Imagine that.

Or conversely, if you hadn't spawned 4 points in the last 2 weeks you'd be sat on 13 points, the same as 10th placed salford and a full 9 points off 4th place. Funny old game, aint it

Well said. Too many Hull and rovers fans suddenly get wet pants after a win or two. Neither are good enough to worry the best teams when it really matters

It's on a Monday, moans Sandy. Isn't this a positive? 8 days since the last game and 11 day turnaround to the next one, then. Honestly, this chap's existence is so permeated with niggles and sadness, I'm glad to gift him some derby joy. I may go to the Huddersfield Giants favourite breakfast spot this morning, just to check how many eggs Big Eorl eats.

Yes, with me. Then we concluded that it was nothing to do with fountains or vessels, but with the first printing presses that brought knowledge to the masses for the first time in the fourteenth century. The letter blocks used in the press were called fonts, and became known as the fonts of all knowledge. Fount is the anomoly. Had you forgotten?

I don't think CS was moaning. If anything he will have been responding to a Q posed to him by the HDM reporter. I thought his response was candid and based on experience. Having met him he just gets on with it. Nothing seems to faze him.
