I think the problem Sandy had in his early days winning people over, is he is the polar opposite of Justin. He's very intense and not particularly media savvy. Yep totally agree with the above it can take a while for change to happen and for the better to be honest I'm glad he's chilled out a bit more cos at the beginning it was boring listening to why we was losing, and I'm glad he not a media freak like Morgan was.

So that one is not proven conclusively either way. It's also worth looking up the translation of the writings of St John of Damascus referred to as "the fount of knowledge". Pretty early stuff, that is.

If you believe the traditional "fountain or font of all knowledge" being a metaphor for a gushing fountain or pool of God-given knowledge, then yes.

But I'm now convinced by the fourteenth century version - the little melted down blocks or fonts that were the letters on the early printing presses. These first made reading material accessible to the public and gave them knowledge never before obtainable. A much more down-to-earth and socialist theory, with not a deity in sight.

Different St. John. This one was a Syrian priest and scholar.
